Procom is dedicated to contributing to our community both locally and nationally. For that reason, Procom supports a
variety of good causes through both financial contributions and an even more valuable commodity - time. Recently,
Frank McCrea, President of Procom, successfully established the McCrea Foundation in support of Canada's hospice
community. While Procom continues to support the other important agencies listed below, the mission of the McCrea
Foundation is particularly close to the hearts of Procom staff and partners.
The McCrea Foundation is a non-profit foundation with 100% of all donations going directly to non-profit organizations
and institutions. All operating costs related to managing and processing donations, preparing tax receipts, website
operations, etc. are donated by Procom with no fees being paid for its services.
To facilitate active and ongoing support for the McCrea Foundation, Procom has also designed the "Yes, I Give at
the Office!" web portal seen below. This fully automated system allows everyone to contribute via a secure credit
card transaction but its true value lies in the Procom work force.
Staff members and consultants enrolled in Procom's automated timesheet system can schedule regular automatic contributions
from their pay with the click of a mouse. These deductions can be activated, deactivated or adjusted online and a line item
on the invoice to Procom reports deduction amount for that billing period.
The McCrea Foundation has applied for Registered Charity status. In the interim, tax receipts will be issued by the recipient
charity ( www.perramhouse.ca ) for all donations over $25.00 per calendar year.
