About the McCrea Foundation

Formed in 2003, the objective of the McCrea Foundation is to provide grants to institutions and organizations that care for persons requiring long-term or palliative care with the primary goal being support for the hospice community of Canada.

Funding Requests

The McCrea Foundation has limited funds at this early stage of its existence and funding for 2004 is already committed. However, if you wish to be notified when funding is available, please fax or email a Grant Request to our Toronto office. It will be reviewed no later than Nov 30, 2004 or when funding becomes available. Please note, many requests are received and only those in serious need are considered. Please describe your organization's needs, functions and consumers in detail. Indication of your web site is also appreciated.

How to donate

The McCrea Foundation uses Procom's contractor payment system which enables contractors to identify a dollar amount to be deducted from their invoices. The deduction can be activated, deactivated or adjusted through a link in the Online Time Sheet system. A line item on the invoice to Procom reports the amount of the deduction for that billing period.

Tax Receipts

The McCrea Foundation has applied for Registered Charity status. In the interim, tax receipts will be issued by the recipient charity ( www.perramhouse.ca ) for all donations over $25.00 per calendar year.
